On Wednesday, Aug. 25, Penn Jillette, the outspoken half of the comedy-magic duo Penn & Teller, sheared 10 inches of his signature ponytail with the help of his devious cohort Teller to benefit Locks of Love at the Rio Spa at the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Penn had been sporting the look for almost 25 years, and while he has not had it insured like other stars and their famed attributes, the locks were considered priceless.
“One of our co-workers at the Rio has a little granddaughter who is going through chemo (and expected to be fine),” Penn said. “All the long-haired employees of the Rio were asked to donate some hair in her name. I don’t think a two year old would look good in my long curly hair, but I hope someone can use it. There’s no panic, I can give 10″ and still have enough left for a ponytail to hide my microphone cables. We all wish her the best.”

Jayde Nicole And Friends At miX

The Primp Clothing party was held Wednesday night at miX Lounge inside THEhotel at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. Celebrities and VIPs came out in droves to support the Spring 2011 collection and the launch of Primp Korea. This fun and flirty women’s clothing and accessories line was a hit as celebs doned their favorite pieces on the carpet.
First to arrive was “Dancing With The Stars” sweetheart Karina Smirnoff, looking radiant in a white mini dress with flesh peep toe heels. Before hitting the carpet, Smirnoff dined with friends at the exquisite miX restaurant, all while tweeting “Having dinner @mixlasvegas with the most amazing women.”
The group enjoyed delicious cuisine such as gnocchi, veggie medley and salmon tartare while sipping on specialty pomegranate cocktails and champagne. After dinner, Smirnoff sparkled on the carpet as she posed with various Primp Clothing handbags and then headed up to miX Lounge to celebrate. After dancing, laughing and posing for a few more photos, Smirnoff tweeted “Best party ever” and retired to her gorgeous suite inside THEhotel.
Also on the carpet was Brandi Cyrus, “Everlife” singer Julia Ross and “Frank and Derol” musician Codi Caraco. All three women posed with hip Primp handbags before heading upstairs to celebrate with Smirnoff.
Making a guest appearance was Damian Whitewood, another DWTS alum who recently partnered with Pam Anderson on the hit television show. Whitewood and wife were adorable as they cuddled at a private VIP table on the outdoor patio of miX Lounge. Others to hit the carpet were “America’s Got Talent” alum Recycled Percussion, actor Vincent De Paul, US Weekly journalist Suzanne Marquese, Primp designer Wells Butler and owner of Primp Clothing, Greg Lorber.
Making a late but fashionable arrival with beau Jesse Waits was Jayde Nicole, 2008 Playboy “Playmate of the Year.” The svelt Hill’s alum looked gorgeous in an orange Primp dress and black pumps. After posing solo, Nicole pulled the rest of her Playboy playmates on the carpet including Kara Kramer, Stacy Fuson and E!’s “Kendra” star Jessica Hall. At the end of the night Nicole tweeted, “haha love my life and I’m wearing Primp!”

Rok With REO Speedwagon



Rok Vegas Nightclub, located at the New York-New York resort, provided a nice feast for REO Speedwagon at an after-concert party Friday night. The band’s members, Dave Amato, Kevin Cronin, Neal Doughty, Bruce Hall, and Bryan Hitt, performed with Pat Benatar at the Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV earlier in the evening.
The band hit the red carpet at New York-New York for photos with illusionist Criss Angel and comedian Carrot Top then headed inside Rok, where they resided at a VIP table that overlooked the entire nightclub. The band chatted, toasted and laughed with fans. Amato even went down to the main floor to greet adoring fans.

A fan of Dolly Parton, Menounos took her turn in kitten heels and belted out Parton’s hit “9 to 5,” which was captured by the Access Hollywood cameras for a weeklong special of “Maria’s Madcap Adventures” airing this week.

Stan Lee, Sean Paul Party At Palms Resort

Actor and comic book writer Stan Lee dined at N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms Casino Resort Thursday night (5.6.10) as a special guest of Executive Chef Barry S. Dakake. Dakake made a special menu for Lee and his group of 20 friends. The menu included shellfish platters, garbage salad, medium rare ribeyes, grilled asparagus, creamed corn, and Julie’s hot potatoes. After dinner, the group toasted with champagne and S’mores and additional desserts. Lee left around 6:45 p.m. to attend the world premier of Iron Man 2 at Brendon Theaters at the Palms.
After the debut, Lee and a group of 7 partied at Moon Nightclub. They sipped Kettle One and FIJI water and were joined by Golden State forward and former Laker Ronny Turiaf.
Rapper Sean Paul dined at Nove Italiano with a few friends before heading to Playboy Club. At the club, Paul was presented with an exclusive Playboy Club key by one of the sexy Playboy Bunnies. Paul then went to drink with friends at ghostbar.

A Full House Of Stars At Palms

Michael Andretti dined at N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms Casino Resort on Thursday night (4.22.10). Accompanied by George Maloof, actor Adrien Brody and other friends, Andretti enjoyed the lobster pot stickers. Brody had the shrimp cocktail, heirloom tomato salad, NY steak and a side of creamed spinach.
Jerry Tarkanian was also at N9NE with a party of four, including Hall of Fame pitcher Roland Fingers; and singer Enrique Iglesias who was spotted in the kitchen signing Executive Chef Barry S. Dakake’s famous Shakedown door. Iglesias also stoped by the Playboy Club, where Playboy Bunny Tiffany DeLeon presented him with an exclusive Playboy Club key. Iglesias was on property doing a photo shoot for his new album.
Rain Nightclub hosted “Down and Derby,” a retro-inspired roller skating disco party which featured a special performance by the French band, Yelle.

Shanna Moakler celebrated her birthday with 9 Group at Palms Casino Resort Saturday night (4.17.10). She began her evening by enjoying dinner at N9NE Steakhouse with 5 others. Vince Vaughn Hangs Out At Hard Rock



Actor and newlywed Vince Vaughn spent some time at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino this week with wife Kyla Weber and friends. Peter Billingsley, best known as the character Ralphie in “A Christmas Story” and who directed Vaughn in the box office hit “Couples Retreat,” also was with Vaughn and company.
Vaughn arrived at the hotel Wednesday, April 14, and gambled solo in the High Limit Lounge that afternoon. Later, Vaughn and his party dined at Nobu before calling it a night.
On Thursday, April 15, the group was poolside in a private cabana at the new Skybar. Later that night, the group met at Rare 120 for dinner. The group dined in the private dining room.



Fishburne, Pressley At Palms

Laurence Fishburne hit the Playboy Club inside Palms Casino Resort Friday night (4.9.10). He and five friends drank Ketel One vodka with a variety of mixers and smoked cigars. Fishburne also hit the blackjack table.
Earlier, at the Palms Pool & Bungalows, actress-model Jaime Pressly partied with three friends. They enjoyed margaritas poolside. Also at the pool was actress-singer Brooke Hogan. Wearing a pink string bikini with clear high heels, she and her friend partied in a cabana.



Bonds, Dana White At Palms

Barry Bonds dined at N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms Casino Resort Friday night (4.2.10). He and a freind indulged in tuna tartar for an appetizer and lamb chops and the sea bass for the main course. For desssert, they had crème brule and the steakhouse’s new doughnuts dessert.
At a separate table, UFC President Dana White had dinner with a party of six. White started with the rock shrimp appetizer and had the Dover sole as his entrée. After dinner, White had drinks at Moon Nightclub before hitting the Playboy Club.
Also in the house were reality star Holly Madison and Benji and Joel Madden of the pop punk band Good Charlotte. Madison and the Maddens also stopped by the Playboy Club, where they met up with Canadian professional skateboarder Pierre-Luc Gagnon.

Jay-Z, Beyonce Take Over The Town

Jay-Z and Beyonce were the hits of the party scene after the rapper performed at the Palms Casino Resort on Saturday (3.27.10). The couple and their entourage also ventured to Tao. On Sunday (3.28.10), Jay-Z was feted to a cookout in Phil Maloof’s penthouse at Palms Place, where Executive Chef Barry S. Dakake of N9NE Steakhouse dished up some choice goodies. George and Gavin Maloof were there too.

Suh, Freeney Hang Out At Palms

Ndamukong Suh, shown above with Chef Barry S. Dakake, dined again at N9NE Steakhouse on Saturday night (3.27.10). Accompanied by six friends, Suh started with the lobster pot stickers and crab stuffed mushrooms. For his main course, he had the lamb chops.
Also at N9NE Steakhouse was Indianapolis Colts lineman Dwight Freeney also ate at N9NE with a group of friends. He enjoyed various appetizers, including rock shrimp, lobster pot stickers and shrimp cocktail.
Both Suh and Freeney were in town to see Jay-Z perform at The Pearl Saturday night.

Chris Rock Stops By N9NE Steakhouse

Chris Rock and a friend visited N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms Casino Resoer for a quick drink and to say hello to Executive Chef Barry S. Dakake on Saturday night (3.20.10).
Brandon Marshall dined at the steakhouse with a party of 10 to celebrate his 26th birthday. Marshall and his table enjoyed the shellfish platters and wedge salads for appetizers. For the main course, Marshall had the organic chicken. The table drank bottles of Reisling with dinner.
Tera Patrick and record producer Scott Storch stopped by ghostbar with a group of four. Partying the night away, Patrick was drinking margaritas and tequila shots, while Storch was sucking down shots of tequila and beers. Around 1 a.m., Roger Taylor, the drummer for Duran Druran, came in with a few friends for drinks.
Later that evening, Patrick stopped by Rain Nightclub with six of her friends and joined Storch’s table.
Martin Lawrence stopped by Moon to unwind after his show at the Pearl. He arrived with a large group of friends and sat at a table on the dance floor. Lawrence was enjoying Ketel One Vodka with a variety of mixers while interacting with fans.



Flavor Flav Popular Flavor At Steakhouse

Flavor Flav received a standing ovation when he walked into the N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms Casino Resort on Friday night (3.19.10). The rapper made his grand entrance wearing his usual clock paired with a neon green suit and green alligator skin shoes. He sat with his group of four in the main dining room and enjoyed a glass of chardonnay, followed by a New York Strip along with lobster and mashed potatoes.
Also dining that evening were retired basketball player Gary Payton and his wife, who enjoyed cocktails with another couple. Retired offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden grabbed a bite with friends before attending Martin Lawrence’s stand-up comedy act at The Pearl.
Speaking of Lawrence, who performed Friday and Saturday night, he received a coveted Playboy key on Friday night.

Martin Lawrence dined at Nove Italiano inside the Palms Casino Resort Thursday night (3.18.10). Executive Chef Geno Bernando came out of the kitchen to have a toast with Lawrence and his group of six. After dinner, Lawrence and his party headed over to Playboy Club, where they drank Ketel One with assorted mixers and FIJI water. Lawrence is in Vegas for his stand-up comedy act at The Pearl tonight and Saturday.

Joe Montana dined at N9NE Steakhouse inside Palms Casino Resort Tuesday night (3.9.10). Joined by a party of five, Montana enjoyed the shrimp cocktail for starters. For his main course, he indulged in a rib eye and potatoes.
Playboy Playmate Bridget Marquardt had dinner with a party of five. She had the petit filet with a side of mac and cheese.
Following dinner, Marquardt and eight friends partied at Moon Nightclub, where they enjoyed the scene from their VIP table. Marquardt was the special host for Moon’s ‘Future of Nightlife’ event sponsored by Svedka Vodka.

Austin, Cutler At N9NE

Wide receiver Miles Austin of the Dallas Cowboys was back at the Palms, dining at N9NE Steakhouse Sunday night (2.28.10) with a party of six. Sitting in the main dining room, Austin nibbled on the rock shrimp and stuffed mushrooms appetizers. He complimented his tasty eats with a few vodka red bulls and Grey Goose sodas. After dinner, the football star signed a few helmets and jerseys for the staff.
Also, quarterback Jay Cutler of the Bears dined at N9NE Steakhouse with a party of nine. Cutler and his group started with the ravioli, rock shrimp and calamari appetizers. Cutler also ordered a filet for himself along with a side of mushrooms and onions. Finishing the meal, he had several rounds of espresso shots for dessert. Cutler also signed autographs for fans.

Chef Of The Presidents

Barry S. Dakake, executive chef at N9NE Steakhouse inside the Palms Casino Resort, is a popular choice with presidents visiting the city. On Feb. 18, Dakake cooked for the Democratic National Convention Dinner, hosted at George Maloof’s home, where President Obama was in attendance.
Dakake also dished up almost every item on the menu and delivered it to President Clinton at Caesars Palace, where he spoke on Feb. 22. This is the fourth time Dakake has cooked for Clinton.





Rev. Run Pumps Up The Volume At Moon

Hines Ward, joined by a party of 15, dined again at N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms Casino Resort Saturday night (2.20.10). After dinner, Ward and friends went to Playboy Club, where they played blackjack, before heading upstairs to Moon Nightclub, where they sipped Ketel One mixed drinks.
Also at Moon: Joey Porter, former New York Giant Robert Jones and former Bengals Adrian Ross and Corey Dillon, who also played with the Patriots. They sat at two VIP tables and enjoyed Ketel One cocktails. Special celebrity guest DJ for the evening was One Tree Hill actor Robbie Jones.
At Rain Nightclub, producer and composer Brian Wayne Transeau partied with a friend and enjoyed the scene from his VIP table on stage. BT also spent the turntables and entertained the crowd with some house-techno beats he’s known for.
On Friday (2.19.10), Joseph Simmons, better known as Rev Run and one of the founders of Run-DMC, was in the house at Rain. He treated the crowd to a special performance.

Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward dined at N9NE Steakhouse inside Palms Casino Resort Thursday night (2.18.10). He was accompanied by a party of 11 and sat in the private dining room. Hines enjoyed the rock shrimp, a garbage salad and the Dover Sole and sipped on Ketel One mixed drinks.

Dodger GM Ned Colletti and three others dined at N9NE Steakhouse on Saturday at the Palms in Vegas. The group started with the rock shrimp, beef ravioli, calamari and chilled shellfish. For their main course, they indulged in a family-style meal that included seared scallops, a 16-ounce chuck chop and prawns with sides of fries, asparagus and creamed corn. For dessert, they shared the cupcakes, cheesecake and s’mores.
Also dining at the restaurant was former Angel Gary Matthews with a party of five. Matthews feasted on the rock shrimp, bone-in filet and creamed spinach. He and his guests also partied at a VIP table inside Moon Nightclub. They sipped Ketel One mixed drinks.
Others have dinner and drinks at N9NE: UFC fighter Chuck Liddell and a party of 10 and UFC President Dana White with a party of seven.
On Friday, Jim Plunkett and a party of five, which included George Maloof, dined at N9NE. Plunkett was also spotted hanging out with four others at Playboy Club. At Nove Italiano, actor Jon Lovitz dined with a friend.



Meghan Beck Miss Playboy Club Of Year

Meghan Beck (Miss Playboy Club Feb. 2009) captured the title of Miss Playboy Club of the Year 2010 at the Playboy Club in Vegas on Sunday night (1.31.10). The event was hosted by Bridget Marquardt, who stars in the reality TV series, “The Girls Next Door.”

Sanchez, Leinart Dine and Party At Palms

Mark Sanchez and Matt Leinart dined separately at N9NE Steakhouse for on Saturday (1.30.10). Accompanied by nine others, Sanchez enjoyed the signature rock shrimp and sashimi. He and his party feasted on a
family-style dinner that included the “Best of N9NE” specialty, which includes a 16-ounce New York steak, Colorado lamb chops, orange chicken and shrimp. Following dinner, Sanchez and friends partied at a VIP table at Moon Nightclub.
Leinart and his party of eight enjoyed the rock shrimp for starters. For his main course, Leinart had the filet with sides of skinny fries and mushrooms. He indulged in some ice cream for dessert.
At Nove Italiano, actor Ben Stiller dined with seven others, including N9NE Group’s Bronson Olimpieri. They enjoyed dinner and the city view at a table on the terrace level. They had a number of signature appetizers such as sausage pizza and shrimp franchaise. They feasted on a family-style dinner, which included the rib eye and Sunday gravy.



Lil Jon Spins The Wax At Moon

Rapper Lil Jon served as special celebrity DJ at Moon Nightclub at the Palms Casino Resort Tuesday night (1.26.10). Australian snowboarding personality Dingo (real name Luke Trembath) also partied at Moon. Earlier that evening, Lil Jon dined at N9NE Steakhouse with a party of eight friends. They sat in the main dining room where Lil Jon enjoyed the shrimp scampi and a mixed green salad to start. For his main course, he had the grilled chicken breast.

Carson Palmer, TJ Houshmandzadeh Have Dinner At Palms; Think Pete Carroll’s Name Came Up?

Carson Palmer and former teammate TJ Houshmandzadeh, who now plays for Pete Carroll and the SeaChickens, dined together at N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms Casino Resort Saturday night (1.23.10). With a party of four, they started with a variety of signature appetizers, including the rock shrimp, lobster pot stickers and calamari. They munched family- style on sauteed organic salmon, sea scallops and shellfish platter for their main courses. The two also ventured to ghostbar, where they held court at a VIP table.
Jake Peavy and Dana White also had dinner at N9NE.
Steven Jackson of the Rams partied at ghostbar with a party of three.
At Moon Nightclub, illusionist Criss Angel enjoyed the atmosphere at a VIP table with eight friends.
At Playboy Club, Matt Goss sat at a VIP table with eight others.



Brady Indulges Again At N9NE Steakhouse

Comedian Wayne Brady dined at N9NE Steakhouse inside Palms Casino Resort Thursday night (1.14.10) with a party of three. Brady, who enjoys spicy food, ordered a spicy Caesar salad, a Cajun rib-eye and a side of the famous lobster mashed potatoes. He finished his meal with a martini.



Agassi and Stefanie Among Faces In The Crowd; Xzibit, Too Short Give Patrons Their Money’s Worth

N9NE Steakhouse inside Palms Casino Resort hosted to a number of celebrity guests Friday night (1.8.10). Andre Agassi and Stefanie Graf were among the stars dining at N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms Casino Resort. The couple split a Garbage Salad, followed by a filet and a side of sautéed green beans.
In the private dining room, Hines Ward enjoyed dinner with a party of eight. Ward was also hit Rain Nightclub with James Farrior, Trevor Townsend and Kevin Payne. The group later made their way up to Playboy Club, which was hosting the official BurningAngel.com AVN pre-party.
Other guests at N9NE: singer-songwriter Kid Rock who dined with a party of 12, including Palms’ owner George Maloof; Xzibit with three friends; Mark Cuban in the lounge for a minute; and rapper Too Short.
At Rain Nightclub, Xzibit and Too Short joined resident DJ Z-Trip in a special performance.

Palms Buzzing With Celebs And Hotties

N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms Casino Resort was buzzing with celebrities who came in for dinner Thursday night (1.7.10). Guests included: actress Whitney Port, who was accompanied by a party of six and enjoyed the tuna tartare, portabella mushrooms and asparagus; actor and producer David Caruso, who had the Maine lobster pasta and dined with five others; rock musician Dave Navarro and a guest, who feasted on the tomato soup, specially prepared grilled cheese, followed by scallops, filet and a side of asparagus; and DJ Danny Masterson, who indulged in the shrimp cocktail, ribeye and Alaskan king crab legs with sides of gnocchi and George’s creamed corn.
Thursday also was the first of a weekend-long series of parties in conjunction with the AVN Awards. Playboy Club hosted the official Playboy Radio party, featuring Christy Canyon, Nicky Hunter, Taylor Wayne, AnnMarie Rios and Kylie Ireland. Producer and entrepreneur Jimmy Lovine enjoyed the scene from a VIP table with eight others.
At Moon Nightclub, the official Wicked Pictures calendar launch party was hosted by Wicked girls Kirsten Price, Alektra Blue, Jessica Drake, Mikayla Mendez, Stormy Daniels and Kaylani Lei. They sat at a VIP table with a group of friends.

Vanity Opens With A Bang

Vegas was jumping again Saturday night (01.02.10). The hottest action was at Vanity, the latest “it” club in the city, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, which held its grand opening. Sean “P Diddy” Combs hosted the festive affair. Before hitting the red carpet, Diddy spent the evening shooting a music video with indie rock band Chester French for their song “Ciroc Star.” Among the stars in attendance: Nelly; Cassie (above); Meagan Good; Floyd Mayweather; Iyaz; Jason Giambi; Jay Hernandez; Ben Lyons; Keith Robinson; Laz Alonso; DJ Clinton Sparks; Dijon Talton; rapper Rick Ross; golfer Anthony Kim; and Josh Johnson of the Florida Marlins.

With illusionist Steve Wyrick as host, Las Vegas resident Shannon Kelly was named Miss Playboy Club January 2010 during an event at the Playboy Club at the Palms Casino Resort on Sunday night (12.27.09). Kelly received $1,000 in cash, a complimentary night’s stay at the Palms, a Swedish massage at Drift Spa at Palms Place, dinner for two at Nove Italiano, a complimentary table and bottle at Playboy Club and a photo shoot.

Hard Rock All-Suite Tower Opens

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas is opening its HRH Tower, an all-suite tower located at the south end of the famous property, today (12.28.09). The tower features its own VIP entrance and check-in, 40,000 square-feet of new casino space, the luxurious Reliquary spa and Vanity nightclub. The HRH Tower is part of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s widely-publicized $750 million expansion that broke ground in 2007.



Holly Madison Checks Out ‘Untamed Illusions’

“Peepshow” star Holly Madison was among the faces in the crowd checking out “Untamed Illusions,” starring The Fercos Brothers, at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Sunday (12.27.09).



Phillies’ Star At Playboy Club

Shane Victorino hung out with six friends at Playboy Club at the Palms Casino Resort on Saturday night (12.26.09). They sipped Ketel One cocktails along with Fiji water. Victorino also played blackjack with UFC President Dana White inside the club. At Moon Nightclub, Australian skateboarder Jake “Ironman” Brown was seated at a VIP booth with 10 friends. Brown drank Ketel One and soda cocktails and Fiji water.



Kym Whitley at Ghostbar

The actress-comedian visited ghostbar at the Palms Casino Resort Friday night (12.25.09) with three other guests, including her mother. The group sat at a table overlooking the Strip. Whitley sipped a Melon Ketel One Martini.



All-Star Cast Enjoys Atmosphere At Palms

The Darling Stilettos (top) packed the house Friday and Saturday at the Lounge inside the Palms Resort Casino, but the group was among plenty of headliners in the house.
Filmmaker Michael Bay dined at N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms Casino Resort Saturday night (12.19.09). Accompanied by a party of 10, Bay and his group sat in the main dining room and started with shellfish platters. For his main course, Bay feasted on a charred New York strip steak with sides of asparagus and mac and cheese. He also indulged on Ketel One martinis and a few beers. Before leaving, Bay took a tour of the kitchen and hung out with Executive Chef Barry Dakake.
At Nove Italiano inside the Palms, Hall of Famer Franco Harris dined on the chicken parmesan. For dessert, he had the strawberry carpaccio. Following his meal, Harris toured the restaurant and kitchen and signed Chef Geno Bernard’s door. Harris then made his way upstairs to Playboy Club to gamble.
Former major league baseball player Howard Johnson also was in the house at N9NE. Johnson enjoyed the fall salad followed by the rib eye for dinner. For sides, his group shared the cold-water lobster tail and baked potatoes.
At Playboy Club, UFC President Dana White (above left) partied with a group of six. They were seated at a VIP table near the dance floor, sipping Ketel One mixed drinks and a bottle of Perrier-Jouet Rose Champagne.
On Friday night (12.18.09), Jason Giambi dined at N9NE. Accompanied by four others, they shared the signature rock shrimp to start. Giambi had the classic Caesar salad and Kobe burger for his main course.

Down And Derby



Rain Nightclub and the Palms Casino Resort hosted the retro-inspired roller skating disco party Down and Derby last night (12.17.09). The roller skating phenomenon premiered with a special performance by Kid Sister and turntable mix-masters, DJ Nugget and DJ SHR3D. In conjunction with the party, Chet Buchanan & The Morning Zoo also celebrated another successful year of its annual KLUC Toy Drive, sponsored by N9NE Group. Future dates for Down and Derby at Rain: Jan. 21, Feb. 25, Mar. 18, Apr. 22 and May 27.

Grand Opening Attracts Stars To B.B. King’s


B.B. King’s Blues Club at the Mirage in Vegas held its official grand opening Friday night (12.11.09). Guests included Willie Nelson, Buddy Guy, Steve Cropper, Lee Ritenour and Robert Cray. The club is located across from the Beatles Revolution Lounge and next to the Samba Brazilian Steakhouse. The 558-seat venue has four bars and some of the best food on the Strip. All eyes were on Kimbo Slice, who won his bout Saturday night (12.05.09) at the Palms in Vegas, but there was plenty of eyeballing in the crowd. Yankee pitcher Joba Chamberlain was there, as were Tito Ortiz and Jenna Jameson, Hulk Hogan, actor Jason Hervey and Forrest Griffin.
