Caddie Shack: You Won’t Find Brothers There

Carl Jackson, who carries the bag for Ben Crenshaw, will be the only black caddie working the Masters this week. Once upon a time, an abundance of black caddies at the Masters and other golf tournaments were a common sight. Times have changed, though.

Dude, There’s Still Hope
-
Despite being punked by his nemisis Phil Mickelson for the championship of the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on Sunday, hope remains alive for Tiger Woods. Vegas has some prop bets on Tiger, with a range of odds on how many Majors he will win.
If you bet against Tiger winning any Majors this year, the odds are 1-2 against you, meaning the bookies believe he will win at least 1. Odds of him winning 1 Major: 9-5; odds of him winning 2 Majors: 7-1; odds of him winning 3 Majors: 25-1; and odds of him taking all 4 Majors (meaning he doesn’t have a prayer): 125-1.

Can’t Phil The Bill

-
Dude, I still don’t like you.
Say what you will about Tiger Woods, though he wasn’t awful at this weekend’s Deutsche Bank Championship, but what about Phil Mickelson? Tiger has practically handed him the No. 1 ranking on the PGA Tour, but Mickelson, as he has been prone to do, can’t get a grip on it.
Oh, and your Deutsche Bank winner: Charley Hoffman.
