Keep Them In Oakland

Warriors1

Let’s hope the Warriors’ owners build the new arena in Oakland instead of San Francisco.

Clipped Again

    Clips2

Sometimes, we’re the dumbest guys on the block. But even we had to question Vegas giving the Clippers 2 1/2 points after the colossal collapse in Game 6. Seriously, what are we missing here, we thought? Unfortunately, not a thing. Just as we predicted (we know, they took a different route, but…), its a Rockets-Warriors Western Conference Final, but everyone knew that, no?
My old lady keeps asking why I don’t bet these things. She really thinks I’m brilliant. I don’t have the heart to tell her. “Sweetie, if I bet it, it ain’t going to happen. Trust me.”

Epic Collapse

Dwight1

Silly us. We thought Dwight didn’t want to come back to L.A.
We were drooling of a Clippers-Warriors rematch in the Western Conference final. We weren’t the only ones either. Then a big hole sunk the Clippers’ ship in the 4th quarter, and you know the rest of the story. How does this happen with no James Harden in the final period? And since we’re dropping dimes, someone please give Stan Van Gundy a playoff share because he is the reason Josh Smith is in Houston.
“We kind of…you could tell we kind of got stunned, and we didn’t respond well,” Blake Griffin said.
    No shit Sherlock?

2 Of A Kind

Always good to see Craig Sager, who is battling leukemia. Couldn’t pick a better dress partner either than Calvin Murphy, shown above before Rockets bust a cap in the Clippers’ ass in Game 5.

He’s No David Blatt

kerr2

We hear Houston doesn’t have a pulse. Steve Kerr? He’s all the way live.
We know some would argue Cavs-Bulls being the best series right now but we beg to differ. Never a more contrast in styles than the Warriors and Grizzlies, the Wild, Wild West at its best again. The winner surely captures the Western Conference Final by beating the Clippers, no? We’ll get grief for asking.

Did we mention Kevin McHale blew off half the media scrum? Didn’t think so. But sometimes karma’s a bitch and it’s a bitch with drama.
We had a feeling something might be brewing before the game, especially with Sam Cassell counseling Austin Rivers. And if you’re buying that line of bullshit, could we interest you in more hyperbole?
Our blow-by-blow.
