It’s been only 5 years since my daughter had to explain to me what 420 meant. “Seriously Dad? You don’t know?” I can still hearing her saying.
Lots of athletes will be celebrating today. We hate to bust anyone, but 1 of our favorite stories is a bud of ours sitting in a Mercedes and smoking a fatty back in the day with Chili Davis.
We’ll just indulge in a glass or 2 of wine to celebrate.

The Eagles’ loss to the Cardinals Sunday dropped the club to 3-6. The Eagles still aren’t out of the playoff picture, particularly in the NFC East, where they are 3 games back of the Giants. But that hasn’t stopped some folks for calling for the firing of Andy Reid, who also made some waves by benching DeSean Jackson on Sunday.

Selfishly, we were so excited to give you our upset special, we neglected the rest of the NFL. WTF? In our haste, we forgot to mention some of the other matchups of note, particularly the Steelers and Ravens. You can never go wrong there.
And for the good folks in Denver, where they still have mad love for Tim Tebow, be careful on your trip to the Black Hole. It could get ugly Sunday.

ESPN’s Tom Jackson was adamant that he believes Michael Vick doesn’t get the same treatment as other high-profile quarterbacks in the NFL, but former quarterback Trent Dilfer begs to differ. Dilfer’s opinion should tell folks they are on the wrong side of the argument.

Though they aren’t as ruthless and heartless as some of their good friends in the Republican Party, Roger Goodell and the NFL owners are close. Even before the players got a chance to see the proposed collective bargaining agreement, the owners paraded in front of the cameras to pat themselves on the back. Many in the media bought their line of crap and pressured the players to approve the deal.
