A little irony? Not the Joe Willie comparisons. He’s got a ways to go before that. We’re talking Pete Carroll. When Carroll barked about Mark Sanchez not being ready for pro ball, was this the USC coach being selfish or the NFL guru the SeaChickens are trusting to call the shots? Just a thought. Sanchez, who’s star shot up another level in New York after the Jets’ victory today over the listless Bengals, is hoping for a visit to San Diego next week. He’ll know Sunday.
