The More Things Change, More They Stay

    Lions 28, Raiders 27.
Oakland can be 1 of the dumbest teams in the NFL. For whatever reason, the Raiders take pride in leading the league in penalties each season.
Today, its defensive schemes, which has cost the club dearly this season, cost the Raiders again. How do you allow Calvin Johnson, who caught 9 passes for 214 yards and a pair of TDs, including the game-winner, get behind your secondary for a 51-yard catch with the game on the line?

No ‘A’ For Effort

A.J. Smith might be a Teflon Don in San Diego, but by the time the Chargers move to L.A. (if not sooner) they’ll need someone with a higher profile as a GM or someone who doesn’t commit serious mistakes regarding personnel. Is that you Bill Cowher?

Road Dog Strikes Again

Tim Tebow, who has guided the Broncos to 4 wins on the road, handed the Chargers their 6th straight loss in an overtime affair today in San Diego. Heads will roll in the off-season, but will A.J. Smith’s roll out the door behind Norv Turner’s?

Calling For His Head

Unless Norv Turner and the Chargers turn it around, the coach probably is on his way out in San Diego. General Manger A.J. Smith, who many believe is the major problem, might get the boot too.

Speaking Of Bernie…Grin And Bear It

Now we’re stealing his material. He’ll want beer for this.
Our good friend Mr. Wilson, who writes for AP in San Diego, unleashed this classic tweet today after the Chargers lose to the Bears: “There’s a new occupy movement in San Diego: Chargers Occupy Last Place.”
