That’s Matt Millen landing a haymaker on the jaw of former Patriots GM Pat Sullivan after the Raiders were eliminated from the ’85 playoffs by New England in L.A.
Can the ‘Boys end the Lions unbeaten run? Can the Steelers win in Houston? Can the surprising Raiders hand Tom Brady and the Pats their 2nd consecutive loss?
We do know this: Either the Vikings or Chiefs will win their 1st game.
We peek at Peter King’s crystal ball for his NFL picks.
Who goofed?
Well if representatives for Chad Ochocinco were trying to put some exclamation points in the ‘O’s’ in Ochocinco, they succeeded in a big way. They couldn’t have bought the publicity this gaffe has generated.
The Bengals’ wide receiver had boxes of his cereal pulled from store shelves after a phone number for a charity was actually a number for a sex hotline. Talking dirty to us again, Chad?
“Remember, this was made in Pittsburgh. Something isn’t right,” Ochocinco said.
He might have a point there.
You probably don’t have a life if you’re wagering on the winner of the upcoming season of “Dancing With The Stars.” Or you just like to bet on anything.
Evan Lysacek is the odds-on favorite for the dancing title, with Erin Andrews second at 9-2. Surprisingly, Chad Ochocinco, the noted naked jogger, is a 5-1 shot. But he is light on his feet. Read on for the rest of the lineup.
“We’re going to give it to you raw and uncut.”
Did we mention there were a few clowns at the circus? One of our favorites, Chad Ochocinco, is giving his spin on all things related to the Super Bowl this week. Ochocinco, who was working today’s media day at Super Bowl XLIV as a member of the media, is anchoring the “Ochocinco News Network” (how creative). The Bengals’ wide receiver has a reporting staff that includes running back Ray Rice of the Ravens, tight end Chad Cooley of the Redskins and Cardinals’ defensive lineman Darnell Dockett, who played in last year’s Super Bowl. How’s that for a lineup?
And the purpose of it all? Well of course it’s to provide viewers insight to what’s on the minds of the Colts and Saints. Or as Chad says, raw and uncut. “That’s what everybody wants to hear,” Ochocinco told the Associated Press. “They want to hear the players’ perspective. They don’t want to hear what the other (media) outlets say about what they feel is going on. People want to hear what the players feel about the events, the whole nine yards.”
Sounds like a party.
