So Bob Arum says Pacquiao-Mayweather will happen in 2013? And what gave him that idea? Surely not Floyd Mayweather Jr., who continues to sit in a Las Vegas jail serving out his 3-month sentence for smacking around the mother of his kids.
Arum, who has been as big a problem as Mayweather has in staging the fight, believes the cold war between the 2 camps is thawing. We’re sure Arum has had plenty to do with that. As we’ve said before, we should be talking trilogy between these 2, but since we’re not, we’ll believe it when the fight happens. Just another credibility issue that plagues boxing.
