No one in their right mind believed the state of Texas wouldn’t grant the loaded-gloves wearing Antonio Margarito a license to fight Manny Pacquiao, right? Didn’t think so.
Jerry Jones and “Sponge” Bob Arum will worth out the details. But the Jerry Dome will be the site again for another Pacquiao fight, this time on Nov. 13, when more than 70,000 will soak up the atmosphere.
What a shame. Seeing that it took this long to clear Margarito for this fight, makes you wonder why Arum was so quick to pull the plug on negotiations for Pacquaio vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. Arum offer some nonsense about having time to promote Pacquiao-Mayweather, but you and I know there is no promotion needed.
