GQ is dedicating a substantial piece of its September issue to the King of No Rings. The main story, which revolves around “The Decision,” is written by the notable J.R. Moehringer. The writer also tells about his front-row seat to the circus and the carnival atmosphere surrounding it all.
If you visit the magazine’s website, you get a peek at some bonus coverage, like a piece called “Inside the King’s Closet.” The duds were kinda hokey to us and seemed more like stuff Carmelo would wear. But we didn’t see any Pilgrim outfits like the one Kobe donned recently in the L.A. Times Magazine. The King gets a thumps up for avoiding that diss.
