Imagine if this is Brett Favre’s way of playing a joke. Is anyone other than ESPN taking this serious? “He’s not a half-baked guy.” We beg to differ, but that is what Vikings Coach Brad Childress said today regarding Favre’s possible retirement. Childress said Favre hasn’t told him he is quitting. Hmmm. One of those cases where the jilted lover is the last to know? Wouldn’t that be poetic justice? Meanwhile, sportswriters are running over each other for the story.
