That psychotic email Cavs owner Dan Gilbert sent to fans ripping LeBron James cost him a little chump change today. In addition to the wrath Gilbert earned from Team LeBron, Rev. Jesse Jackson and a whole lot of other folks, NBA Commissioner David Stern clipped Gilbert’s wallet for $100,000. He probably drops more than that with the valet.
As far as Gilbert responding to criticism from Rev. Jackson, he backed off like a 4-year-old getting his hand slapped for the 1st time.
“I strongly disagree with Rev. Jesse Jackson’s recent comments and we are not going to engage in any related discussion on it,” Gilbert said.
Guess he likes picking fights with bigger guys like LeBron instead of Rev. Jackson.
