Lorenzen Wright Found Dead

The body of the former NBA player was found in a wooded area in Memphis. Police are treating the tragedy as a “death investigation.” Apparently, Wright was a gunshot victim.
A 1st-round draft pick of the Clippers in 1996, Wright (shown above with his daughter Sierra, who preceded him in death) played with several NBA clubs. His last season in the NBA was the ’08-09 season, when he was a member of the Cavs.
The 34-year-old Wright, the father of 6, was reported missing on July 19 after visiting his ex-wife’s home.
Wright played college ball at Memphis. He was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi.
