Shaw To Cavs Done Deal?

The agent for Brian Shaw told writer Brad Turner that the Laker assistant is “close to accepting deal” to become head coach of the Cavs. Guess they really want to export the Triangle offense to Cleveland.
What Shaw’s hiring will mean for LeBron James, Phil Jackson and all the other players in the free agent and coaching market will play out within the next week. But the ramifications of it are huge.
It also means, with Jackson’s expected departure this week, Byron Scott will be the next Laker coach.

What will Brown do?: The high-flying reserve guard supposedly is opting out of his deal with the Lakers to become a free agent. Will he head back to Cleveland, where he played as a rookie?
Actually, Brown would prefer to return to the Lakers, but wants a new deal that pays more than the $2 million he was scheduled to make next season.
