Oh Happy Days: 3 In A Row

It’s not like the Thunder winning nine straight because these guys don’t have those expectations. The Clippers rallied against the lowly Pistons Wednesday night to record their third straight and no one in L.A. really gives a shit. Maybe Kim Hughes does. The interim coach, who won’t get the job when the franchise decides their pick this summer, is 3-5 since inheriting this train wreck from Mike Dunleavy.
But Hughes has fans. Like Clipper TV analyst Mike Smith, who doesn’t have a clue about anything. He gave Hughes a glowing endorsement (not that that means much) a few nights ago, saying he is the man for the job.
Rasual Butler (“I had to keep shooting”), despite missing 12 of 17 shots and 7 of 10 from three-point land, kept on shooting and finally delivered the dagger. As Tupac would say, break out the champagne and condoms. This one is on us.
