Offense Is The Best Defense

So much for that Jets’ defense. And no, there won’t be a parade through the streets of Manhattan.
Peyton Manning and the Colts’ offense nixed those plans. With Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie topping more than 100 yards receiving, the Colts rallied from an 11-point deficit to upend the Jets for a trip to Super Bowl XLIV in Miami. Garcon, whose parents were born in Haiti, torched the Jets’ secondary with 11 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown. Collie finished with 7 catches for 123 yards and a touchdown. Overall, the Colts blitzed the Jets for 461 yards in offense. They also got a major contribution from their defense, which shut out the Jets in the second half.
