A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Waste
- Despite the fumbles by Adrian Peterson and the rest of the turnovers, the Vikings had the NFC Championship in their grasp on their final offensive possession. Who goofed? Well obviously, Brett Favre, but again what was Brad Childress thinking? If there was one bet I would have wagered the farm Sunday, it would have been the Minnesota coach having a brain cramp at some point in the game. It’s as reliable as sluggish Monday mornings. That the screw up would occur at the most critical part of it (fellas, the Super Bowl is on line one…oops, it hung up) still blew me away. Dude!
Of course much of the post-game talk switched from that to “are you coming back, Brett?” I guess you’ve got to ask the question, but we all knew the answer.
