Despite Dad’s Troubles, Their Bond Endures

By the time the Alabama-Texas national championship kicks off Jan. 7 in Pasadena, you would have heard or read all about Heisman winner Mark Ingram and his dad, the former New York Giant receiver who is now serving a prison sentence for fraud and money laudering. You’ve probably heard the story plenty of times already. If not, you’ll hear about it during the game and how the younger Ingram has endured despite his father’s mistakes. It’s definitely worth a read and it definitely speaks highly of the Alabama running back’s ability to overcome a major obstacle.
